Company History

Since 1977, New Trend has been a trusted name in flooring and window furnishings across the Northern Rivers and Tweed Coast. We began as a local carpets-and-curtains business and have grown into a full-service flooring provider.

Today, Owner Kain Askew and GM Ash Wilson carry on that tradition of personalised, honest service. They bring decades of expertise to every project. We live and work here, so we understand the local climate and style needs.

What We Do

New Trend simplifies your renovation. We supply and install everything from engineered timber, hybrid and vinyl planks to wool/synthetic carpets, as well as blinds, shutters and awnings. Our consultants will come to you with a free in-home measure and quote, bringing an extensive range of samples so you can see and feel choices in your own space. 

From selection to installation, every step is handled by our qualified team. Importantly, we partner with 20+ leading suppliers to ensure you get premium products at competitive prices.
